Police ID District Man Killed In Triple Maryland Shooting

A 20-year-old District man was killed in a shooting on Tuesday night in Prince George's County that left two others with less severe injuries, police say.

Diontre Mackall has been identified by investigators as the person who was killed in the fatal triple shooting in the Forestville area on July 2. 

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, officers responded to the 3100 block of Lakehurst Avenue, where they found Mackall inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

Police say that a second man was taken by paramedics to the hospital with a gunshot wound not considered to be life-threatening, and a third suffered a graze wound during the shooting.

No details about a motive or possible suspects has been determined by detectives.

Mackall was the second person found shot and killed in a Prince George's County home overnight.

Both fatal shootings remain under investigation.
